We bought a protec second hand dirt cheap it’s like a bit of tissue paper, it ripped apart in 2 minutes up here on the moors. 2 minutes.

I have all the pieces in the shed still wonder how I can utilise them.

Yes thank you. We are now down to factor 15. Had over 8 feet in places last week. Interesting travelling down the valley but not back up.

I tried to clean my PVC ridged roof today - ladder just tall enough. However, the roof hadn't been cleaned for a while and there are silvery grey patches that look like lichen. The long handled utensil with a wide soft head didn't clean the 'dips'. Any suggestions other than complete the journey to get on top of the roof completely? Or pay someone else (no time to achieve this though). Due to have solar fitted next week, will they clean, prior? Perhaps not.......help, let me know your choice of tool for the job!

If I'd ga d known this thread was still going I would have taken so e pictures of footprints all over my roof today after I fitted the solar panel
