That's a new one on me I think it means dogs not allowed inside the Food festival yes. But they are allowed on the camping field.

It's a shame because Lucy would enjoy the food festival more than me, it would be like doggie heaven for her.

We had our two with us last year and although you can't take them into the festival, there are lots of nice places to walk them. Grosvenor park is a nice stroll along the river and has a coffee shop with a conservatory reserved for dog walkers and the Ship Inn, just across the Handbridge is dog friendly, does decent bar meals and has a good selection of ales. Unfortunately, the Boot Inn (cheapest beer in Chester) doesn't allow dogs but you can't move in it for Funsters. There are a couple of walks along the canal towpaths too.

We have the lillipads for use with the wind out they are useful for given the dogs a bit of extra space if it's wet.
Do the funsters all get pitched together regardless of selecting leccy and awnings?
Got bookings saved while we decide if we need leccy.

cant remember the pubs name now, but The Boot has a sister pub which does welcome dogs, same prices, just as busy but less funsters


edit - think it was The Falcon, Lower Bridge Street

and rather oddly they serve food here but they don't at The Boot, no logic to no dogs at all really
