Yeah I thought so I didn't get away with a free trip though. Glad I had just had brunch before going in though.

The water tap is on the road running up the side of the enclosure. Look for the White Horse bar. It's along there.
There's a blue sign that says Water.

Dump grey in flat grey plastic collection thingies near toilets/generators.

Yes. Sorry Sandra, my reply referred to grey and black waste. I knew about the tap location, hence arriving here with a full tank, but unintentionally omitted it from my reply. :oops:

You could decant it into a container/bucket and carry it over to the disposal point, or, you could have a magic waste container sited under your open waste tap. ;)

There is not a dedicated waste water point at Chester Race Course, the choices are drain it into a bucket and pour into Elsan , what some do is have a bucket with holes in a bit of straw in the bottom then the water goes into the ground but non of the bits then just tip the straw in the bin at the end of the week end, not much use now but could be useful sometime again, then of course the other option on here because it won't be camped on again is just to let it slowly run out.

:D And before anyone says no I don't want another thread on grey waste :rolleyes:

I would like to thank carol 54 for all her help sorting out my van., as it was my first camping experience in my new van it made me feel more convent.Someone worth having has a friend. I was made very welcome. Thanks again carol.
