You had me doubting myself so checked on google maps it's 0.4 mile to the start of the path I'm talking about and says it takes 8min walk.

I guess it depends where you are measuring from but I can assure the arch and steps are less than 50 yards from our marquee.
In fact last year Sian chased some tw@ts across there trying to steal their generator @Jim
 
Yes the arch is right next to us I was meaning walking on the other side of the river so you can walk up to the road cross a bridge then enter the cycle path that goes on for miles.

We stayed on this side of the river because it is all tarmac to Wales and beyond and shared by cyclists, I never noticed any cyclists on the other side.
Wife and I rode to the border and a few miles into Wales

That might be a good mix you can answer all the questions on the WW1 & 2 having lived through them and I'll do the 90's the decade I grew up
 
Just spoke to @Gerri19 we are having teams of six, so we need more new funsters to make up another team.

If everyone who wants to join in the Quiz could you please put your names down so Gerri can print enough question sheets out.

Again this year it's. £1 per head that in the end will be shared out in prize money.

Don't forget you need to bring your own chairs and tables to the Marquee.

Just an enquiry though can dogs go in the funster tent in the evening I know they can't go in other one just wondered not a problem if not.

Not always Carol. Everyone loves and adores well behaved lovely lovely dogs but some yap continuously for no reason and their owners are oblivious to it while it does everyone elses head in :LOL: A generator is more welcome :imoutahere:

He's a springer @Techno more of a deeper woofer! You'll get used to it! Lol, no seriously I get annoyed when people leave their dogs to bark and bark there's no need, ours does bark if someone approaches the van he doesn't know but we never let him bark past the warning stage.

He's very sociable so he will love being in the marque with everyone but he will be on the lead so thank you.

@Techno, Amanda said can you keep her the dvd Batteriies not included Pleeeeeeese she has been after that dvd for a long time :) we search all the charity shops as she loves film musicals and dvd with singers like boy zone and kyle cliff richards well just about anysinger really . She said have you got any ? I said i wouldn't think you would but told her i would ask :)
