Team 2) Viennese, Cal54, retiringjoyce and husband, kybod, Have asked gozomike if he would join us - if not there is a vacancy for someone.

If for any reason you want to mix these up that's fine - I'm sure no one is precious about who they are teamed with!

@Anthea M - no not yet, but if the team members remain as listed in my earlier post then team 1 could be Flora. Team 2 could be Flo +3. I will ask the participants what they think.

There are always ghost walks with FUN people. Usually start 11 ish and more and more by midnight.

When we used to do the Ghost Walks we had no use of a marque so there was nothing going on in the evening and the ghost walks are only at night, but if anyone wants to go on they can be booked independently at the Town Hall.

I'm not sure what is happening with the Chinese meal but if it happens it's usually on the Sunday or Monday as with marshalling we are usually busy until then with the quiz and cheese and wine evening.

I booked this but didn't realise that they offered a discount until I looked at this thread again. I'm arriving Thursday with a hookup. I'm a solo traveller was there also something about putting your name down for a quiz night?

Hi Vic, yes there are a couple of teams so far from the solos and we could be heading towards a third, will include you in one of the teams, thanks for putting your name forward.

Any more teams made up out there could you please let me know along with your team name. It is a great ice breaker and a quick way to get to know your fellow funsters and it is for fun nothing to serious.

Can any of you ladies guide me please at Chester. I can't remove my mh net curtains and they desperately need washing.

I could take them off normally but I like to remove them with hooks intact, put them in the net washbag and soak in Net White ... saves hours putting hooks back on curtains when they washed.

But I can't work out how to remove these hooks from the rails. . Thank you.

If they're the same as our Burstner ones @movan, there's a little plastic clamping screw at the outboard end of the curtain rail that you have to undo, then everything just slides out of the channel. The ones around the bed are awkward to get at, you have to lie on your back and reach up to get to them.

I was going to say something rude about you lieing on you back Joy @movan but thought I better not! I'm sure we will find a way of removing them when you are at Chester if you haven't done it by then.
