Caravan Wardens Required Market Rasen Racecourse

All this talk of working is sending me into shivers. What I love more than anything is zero, zilch, nada absolutely no work commitment....

I am guessing that people become self employed or start their own business because it’s something they like doing, think that they can do it better or make more money. Why then do they say how bad it is.

From my humble opinion it's not bad at all - and my drive to go it alone was options to choose who and where I work. I don't meet many guys that want to revert back to working for the man...

It must be nice choosing the jobs that suit you or like doing rather than being told to or always getting the rough ones. I can understand that.

Working for yourself you are still often dictated to and told what to do. Most self employed people have the worst, most demanding bosses in the world. They call them customers :D

Street performing beats all those jobs...

Work when and where you choose.

Decide your own hours.

No heavy lifting.

No waiting for monthly cheques.

Good to know, but to do it legally you need to go to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece et al.

Legally?

Legal is for woosies.

I watched Pepe wander into town. Put his bag of props on the pavement. Did his (fantastic) show. Hatted the crowd and was sitting in the pub buying his mates beers before plod had even got into their panda cars.

(That's forty five words I could have put elsewhere. ;))

Many of us do jobs like this to pay for our travelling.
We have taken on all sorts of work on sites over the years.

We worked a long season near St Tropez in 2017 for a holiday company and despite coffee in a cafe at 6 euros and a go we managed to save £20,000. That has paid for 18 months travelling since.

Each to their own.

Thanks @Jim for posting the job.

Wow, now that was good money if you saved £20,000 in one season, well done.

I did say it was a long season!

Ten months living pretty much for free and having the pleasure of mostly French customers who were obviously easy going with low expectations. ( I wish)
