Caravan Club Easter Unparalleled Savings!

If there's a abundance of reasonably priced sites everywhere and plenty to go to at the drop of a hat then I must be looking in the wrong places.
Me too. Finding just one stop in the UK in your chosen area can be a pain. The thought of trying to get a string of them doesn't bear thinking about. UK touring is stressful.

Latest Press Release Advert from C&MC. If this is unparalleled savings, I'm so glad I don't use them at peak times:eek:

Who gave permission for both clubs to use dienamic pricing,so they charge whatever they want, and nine times out of ten the site is knowhere even half full.
Pure greed and I thought members were thought of a lot better than the greed from those sat in an office pondering which colour should my next new Range Rover be.mmmm

Dinosaurs , like 'the good old days' are dead and gone

We adapt and change as our wants and needs change.

Going on about how ot used to be , or when I did this or that ain't going to change here and now , or there and now depending on where you choose to be

I was in a field at £6 a night over the weekend and Monday night at a hidey hole for free.

Sunday evening spent the evening chatting with a lovely couple and played you show me your van I'll show you mine.

We laughed all evening ...without booze and the vehicle cost or how they chose to use it is none of my business.

What was it , I don't know it was not a UK built van and had some very cool.toys including a really clever drop down bed

Will I rember the make of the van nope , but I will remember what nice people they were .

What it cost them or the deprication on again I don't care not my business.

But we had a really nice evening
I loved your message - I was starting to feel bogged down reading so much previously on this thread and thinking wow this is hard work and is sucking all the fun out of today and then your lovely message made me smile and reminded me it’s about what we individually get from our adventures - faith restored, thanks

Using a ferry even a 10 day trip works out cheaper than staying in the UK.
Last year, we did a 21 nights trip here in UK for average of £17 a night.
ccc club sites with our wrinkly discount + the 35% discount for minimum 3 days and booking up minimum 14 days ahead worked out at £12 - £14 a night.
Also, 1 ccc cs site for 10 of the days at £7 a night on the IOW sort of helped pay the exorbatant £150 ferry.
Costs were £360 for 21 days which is approx equivalent to £180 for 10 days. Appreciate that you can't equate that to your 10 days in France as the IOW ferry would still have cost £150 but you can get reasonable costs here in UK.
BUT, discounts this year more thin on the ground for where we are wanting to go AND must admit France or Spain would be nice if only for the better weather.

We were plann8ng on going to the reopened Totnes site this week until we saw the prices! We loved the simplicity of the old one, so will never stay there again at those prices. Then we thought CAMC Minehead, but same again! Both had prices in the mid to high £40’s! We eventually found Home Farm at Blue Anchor Bay, East of Minehead for £27.50 pn with EHU. Only 5 mins from the coast, and a heritage railway taking you to Minehead. The walking in both directions was also fantastic. A lovely simple site and very quiet, we will be cancelling both memberships this year!

I was going away this weekend, not the prices that scared me....
It's the weather,
Therefore, will be going to the good old USA instead...

That's the Uther side of Alsager sadly...

Long weekend of staying at home training and prepping for our 3 month Scandinavia tour instead.
