Just went to look for a booking and I'm getting this?

What don't i know that everyone else does? Is there some sort of early black Friday deal going on?

Probably an overload caused by the change to the new booking system and IT glitches.

Edit…… due to the new system, they are probably throttling access to make sure it runs smoothly

been trying since saturday and they are not answering the phone been hanging on for ages given up now.
 
I think it was like that sat night. I don’t think I tried last night.
So I guess new system isn’t up an running!

We had Rowntree Park booked for five days followed by 4 and 5 days with the C&CC at Keswick and Windermere from this weekend. Sadly we now have a funeral to attend in Colchester right in the middle so cancelled York online and tried phoning the latter two to see if I could rejig the dates. Took four days before I managed to get through to either of them (whilst on holiday in the Faroes). Tried HQ in the meantime, 15 in line and an average wait of 14 minutes. I eventually cancelled both when the sites answered. I've seen the recent comments about "the Friendly Club" Now I know.

Why is they can't write in proper english "You are in queue for Bookings." How about, You are in the queue for bookings.? Looks like a sound re-investment of members money - not!
 
It’s gone live, but remains in intensive care! Doesn’t seem to work, I can’t find a way to check availability on sites more than 100 miles away!

Update, I managed to get an offer to be in a queue, only 3471 ahead 🤣 did not bother!

I can’t even log in 😒

Luckily, I have already booked sites up until next Monday but can’t get anything for next week yet.

Will probably have to go private for a few nights. At least Cornwall has plenty of sites to choose from!

was just looking at a few sites and then the website has a 401 error for me and not reloading.
 
If you've already got a booking\s and you want to just check it\them on the link in Your Profile, not make a new booking, it places you in the Booking queue. Why? Mmmmmmh!
 
Looking to check our My Outfits in My Profile whilst logged in so why does it ask me to Log In? Mmmmmh!

Still number (nearly) 600 in the queue at 07:00 this morning just to recheck the dates of our bookings (not make any new ones)!:rolleyes:

And I thought C&CC website was woeful.:rolleyes:

You can't check your bookings, I got straight on at 5:30 this morning and when you try to check your bookings within your profile, the website takes you to a new booking
 
There was talk that CAMC were buying a 2nd Hotel booking website and having it adapted for them, obviously they bought it from the Russian tourist board as it’s not fit for purpose and will turn people away.

Yip, that's what happening to me. You get logged on but when you try and check it just takes you to the "new booking" queue!

I was told by a reliable source they bought the "new" booking software from, as you say a hotel \ travel organisation, and they've been having serious issues with adapting it as can be seen by the postponed (on a number of occasions!) implementation.
