Burgohondo and Beyond

Well all good things have to come to an end and so too has our trip. It finished with the Spanish Orienteering Championships where our small region did remarkably well with 21 medals overall. This is a new record. Our club got a good number of them with Salvador, Maria and their daughter Marta becoming Spanish Champions in their respective age classes.

We're now back in Totana but only for a few weeks before setting off for a five months trip including Poland, Sweden and Norway. May do a thread.

@jumartoo. I'm glad that you and Martin have had a good time, and enjoyed yourselves. :)
Thanks for taking to the time to do a blog, and for all the photos you uploaded. (y)

Cheers for now,

Jock. :)

There is a website for the Via Verdes (Green routes) which are usually old railway tracks.http://www.viasverdes.com/itinerarios/principal.asp . We also pick an area and then look on Wikiloc for bike routes. There are thousands upon thousands of kilometres of tracks in Spain but you need a pointer to link them up this is when other peoples routes are useful and give you ideas or distances and climb.
