Hi There this was written 5 days ago on Trust Pilot.
Further to my last review I contacted ABTA and in the letter it stated - "I can confirm that ABTA is not seeking changes to EU1177/20, and that the current legal position is that where a ferry crossing is cancelled, as in this instance, in accordance with Article 18 of the EU Regulations, the ferry company is obliged to offer you the choice of either rerouting (if available) or a refund of your monies. Vouchers can be used instead of a refund but only where the customer agrees to reimbursement in this form." it goes on further and states "If you have rejected the voucher and they are refusing to provide you with a refund, you can pursue your claim through the small claims track in the County Court or through independent arbitration"
BF customer representative (Fiona) told me yesterday that ONLY holidays are covered by ABTA and not ferries.
