I thought “duty free”finished years ago it’s not been duty free for quite a few years now, when duty free ended we were allowed to fetch virtually as much as we liked as long as it was for personal use, I don’t really see why brexit should change that.

Because, under the provisions of the customs union and single market, free passage of goods between all member states was allowed, providing the relevant tax was paid in the country of purchase. Hence, only an idiot would buy a van load of beer in Sweden but Estonia was a whole other ball game. Even then, I recall HMRC trying to clip our wings with 'reasonable personal use' argued. Goodness knows what our cash strapped bunch of fraudsters will wish to impose on us in the way of duties.....even assuming we can ever leave our glorious sovereign nation again.

Do you mean like we have been taken for ride for nearly 50 years due to our treacherous so called leaders who lied through their teeth to the nation whilst signing over our country to the EU purporting it was only going to be a trading arrangement called EEC ?

Absolutely not, it's not the people that voted to leave that have caused this situation it's the politicians and unelected officials in Brussels that have wasted 4.5yrs and still haven't been able to sort out a suitable plan.
They should all be shot at dawn.

Hhmm maybe the Vote Leave government should have had a plan on how to leave and on what terms before triggering Article 50 all this is on the current Government and May's before.

Well then that is interesting considering that out of the 650 mp's 498 of them voted to trigger article 50, bearing in mind that the result of the vote was to leave the EU.
I'm certain the plan was to leave, clearly it wasn't that the government did or didn't have a plan to leave it was more that Brussels kept changing their strategy, ie. the day after the vote Francois Hollande said now the UK have voted to leave they must realise that they will never be allowed back in and that we will punish them.

If you listen to DR Alice Weidel's speech in the Bundestag it's clear that the blame for the UK leaving the EU lies at the door of Brussels, if they had given some concession to Cameron this could have been avoided but they went down the road directed by France and 4.5yrs later they are now dancing to Macron's tune.
