I’ll give you some more time to finish editing before I reply…..Steve and Denise I've just noticed that Jim & Sian are on the reserve list, can this be correct?
As the Club Site Inspection Officers, do they not have an automatic entry?![]()

yes that will be fine NeilSteve and Denise will it be OK to arrive on the Thursday and possibly leave on Sunday? We have our granddaughters wedding the following Saturday and the preparations are eating into our time.
I have just been told today that the Humber crossing is card payment only! And the cost is £1.50 some may want to take other routesI left Newark this morning and decided that I would go North to Scarborough via the Humber Bridge.
I arrived at the Toll Booths at the Northern end, AFTER crossing the bridge, to find that they ONLY take card or internet payments!
What happens if you have neither, an Oldie or a foreigner for example, what do you do. Reverse all the way back?
There may have been some notification of this BEFORE crossing, but I'm fairly observant, and I didn't see it!
I'm now ensconced on Scarborough,s busy CCC just North of the town, £31.74 for two nights with EHU can't be bad! Will investigate Scarborough tomorrow.
See you all on Wednesday!![]()
Take the 2nd roundabout as the first one has a very potholed single track lane.Last time I went the first roundabout A165 turn right, it’s a single track road right up to the yacht club. Alternatively right at the second roundabout, then a small roundabout right again, left at the end of the road to the Yacht Club.
I think the first roundabout has a no through road sign.Take the 2nd roundabout as the first one has a very potholed single track lane.
Yes last time I went we had no option but to take the single track, as the small roundabout near the campsite had roadworks and the road from there to the Yacht club was closed.I think the first roundabout has a no through road sign.
Yes, this was the cost and when I complained about the lack of signage (not the cost) the operator told me it had been card only for two years and everyone knew about it?I have just been told today that the Humber crossing is card payment only! Get the ferry from the A165 directly to the campsite on the huge blue canal. See Latest Google map.Looking at Google maps it is difficult to see how to get to the yacht club. Is it via one of the two roundabouts on the A165?
