Breakfast in Switzerland? How Much???

Everything is expensive in Switzerland, but to be fair you we re eating in a revolving restaurant where almost everything was carried up by helicopter and only got built becase the film conpany subsidized it. We had lunch there once and one sidecwas in cloud and the other wasn't. Bizarre!

A747 for two strokes. Have used R forty years ago. Glorious smell, very sticky residue on piston rings though.

Nope, two strokes👍
Both
What is Castrol R used for?

Known to all as the Castrol R

For all racing, 2 and 4 strokes, motorcycles, and cars, on and off-road, even garden equipment and can be used in racing engines, gearboxes, as a two-stroke mix, even added to one's petrol for normal 4 stroke engines

I always thought it was for racing/tuned two strokes, but then again I am a little young to witness it first hand🤭

Isnt it after shave?
Essential for the woman in your life 😋😋😋

Used to use Castrol R (veggies love it :giggle:) in our rally Minis. As previously said the smell was beautiful. Mind you I like the smell of transmission oil too.

My ex S-I-L moved to Switzerland about 10 years ago.
I saw her at a family wedding in March in Truro.
At the wedding venue the beer was £5 a pint.
I nearly had a heart attack.
She and new hubby couldn't believe how cheap it was and kept buying rounds.

Apparently it's bloody expensive there but wages cover it.

No way - Nobody likes the smell of transmission oil, I seriously mean nobody - you have Covid 😂

Friend of mine on her first jump landed across power lines. Several months in the burns unit in Bristol 😱😱
My uncle Joe didn't jump but went by glider to Arnhem. He later said that only an idiot would jump put of a perfectly serviceable aircraft... Never went in a glider again either!

Ah Switzerland. It's not just up mountains where it's expensive. I remember Chicken Kiev, Chips and a beer in an average diner. That'll be £70 each please! It did include green beans, carrot and some green stuff.

Eight years ago.

We rode there on 60 year old Lambrettas, so needed the sustenance.

I saw a group of old stinkwheels a few weeks ago when in Dinant on the Meuse. Off to a rally somewhere.

I ran it in all of my motocross bikes. RM 250, YZ 250 and CR 500 with no problem’s at all.
Ran it in my DT 175 & DT 400 and it gummed the rings up rotten.

And you are well within the Castrol R era WESTY66 ::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

Is that a 250 & a 400? Are they the “E”?

Either way, they look stunning!

And your greedy!

Yes they are the 400E
Have had the yellow one about 20+ years and use to restore them but gave up a few years back.
Unfortunately had a lack of judgment and sold the white one a few years back along with the IT 490 and Suzuki X7😭😭😭

Wouldn’t miss the X7, but the IT 490, that would be another story.

I dread to think what you would have to pay for an immaculate RD400 these days. Beautiful bike.

Used to work at the British Embassy in Switzerland (Geneva), my car was double stacked in the underground car park i.e. a car underneath or above. Was an amazing mechanism.

We pulled into a cafe in Interlagen in 1995 (yes we had cars then) we only wanted a coffee and sandwich so- this is how it went, we waited and waited and some but we picked up the menu to look at while passing time, WOW!! Swift exit:mad:
