You probably have chosen one of the most expensive cafés! We always wince at the price when we're skiing but they have got to cart it all up the mountain

I would ask for a reduction in the price ,there's no snow.

On the basis that you can afford to get there the bill seems like small potatoes……………or frites👍
True I guess but it’s a bit steep for a Yorkshireman!!
Another thing off the bucket list👍

Was it full English or one of them poxy continental jobs with jam and stuff?
P&O North Sea ferry breakfast from the four seasons restaurant🤷‍♂️🤣🤣🤣

Well if you must got to one of the most expensive ski areas in Switzerland what do you expect.

Did the price include the lift pass?
Nope😳😳
In fairness, what a fabulous & iconic place to visit. Awesome place I guess.

Where is it?
The Schiltorn, Piz Gloria, a lá James Bond On Her Majesty’s Secret Service Location. Lauterbrunnen👍😉

You would not catch me thinking about breaking my legs and paying stupid money to jump off a perfectly good mountain.
Have been to the Alps and Pyrenees many times, but in summer.👍
I think we're probably up to at least 30 skiing holidays been lucky nothing broken yet ( well maybe a rib or two never X rayd!.
Sadly the other halfs knees are about shot our skiing days might be over it's been great.

Like people who jump out of a serviceable and safe plane with a handkerchief over their heads. Barmy.

I'm with you on that one. I've got a friend he's done probably a couple of thousands hours flying and years ago decided to do a parachute jump. He did all the training but came down in the aircraft after the first one outs parachute failed.

Friend of mine on her first jump landed across power lines. Several months in the burns unit in Bristol 😱😱

Could have been worse!

They could have reversed the whole number from 007 to 700 instead of just 70!:whistle2:

Nothing cheap in Switzerland but boy is it worth visiting. :)

Did the Piz Gloria breakfast a few years ago and it was a fantastic experience. Fabulous weather - could see Mont Blanc - and glorious views in every direction.

Switzerland and Austria are two of the most scenic countries we've had the good fortune to tour in recent years.

Did Switzerland last year and just came back from Austria, think Austria just pips it for me as a stunning country.

Ah Switzerland. It's not just up mountains where it's expensive. I remember Chicken Kiev, Chips and a beer in an average diner. That'll be £70 each please! It did include green beans, carrot and some green stuff.

We rode there on 60 year old Lambrettas, so needed the sustenance.

We’re they new when you left the UK?😂

::bigsmile: Yes, spot on. There was about 1,000 there over a weekend. The hole in the ozone layer must've been significant. Oh how we laughed! Especially trying to get large carburretor two strokes over the Fluela pass.
