Have a look at the Majority. Range there made in the uk. I have 2 f their Portable sound bars. Amazon sell them

Anker soundcore mini. Tiny but If you put it on something thin like the draining board it produces bass 🤩

I have one of those, and whilst it's ok, it's not comparable to the Bose Soundlink Mini 2
A lot cheaper of course.

We have one of these Graham good sound and battery life.

Anker Soundcore 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker with 12W Stereo Sound, BassUp, IPX7 Waterproof, 24-Hour Playtime, Wireless Stereo Pairing, Speaker for Home, Outdoors, Travel https://amzn.eu/d/9Hde46m
I’m another happy Anker Soundcore owner yy
Mine’s the model below with lower power (6watt) but I don’t find it volume limited.

I'm on my second Bose Mini Soundlink. I kept the first one for spares, unfortunately not the batteries though.
I've not heard a BT speaker that sounds better size for size.
I'd second this, they sound amazing for the size

As above, looking for recommendations for a Bluetooth speaker for the motorhome.
Will be used for playing radio and music from our iPhones/iPads.
Our Bose Soundlink that we have had for a number of years is really playing up charging.
Dont want anything large, the smaller the better. Good quality sound and USB chargeable.
Thanks
Graham
If you USB port/ lead is playing up you could possibly get a charging base for it.

Bose Soundtouch for us. Also bought a pre loved one for the house from CEX for around £90 in perfect condition.

We've got one of these and find it very good for the cost.

For smaller needs my Creative MUVO 2c Palm Sized Water Resistant Bluetooth Speaker with Built-In MP3 Player punches above its size.
And it can take a micro sd card to be a standalone player. yy
It’s listed on Amazon but do checks on £££

JBL Flip is brilliant and we are choosy about our speakers.

The co-pilot has a Bose Soundlink Colour II and I have a UE Roll 2 - both pretty good but the Bose probably the better of the two sound wise (just) although the UE Roll 2 is more robust and waterproof to a degree plus it has an elastic strap to help mount it to things like your awning pole (if you want to really annoy the neighbours . .).

If u want to spend the money then I am sure Bose is excelent.
I have anker soundcore and the mini and ear buds and the are all very good. Imho far exceeding most others at their price point.

If the battery is not charging try replacing it. They are available on Amazon for £30-£40. I have not needed to do it on mine yet, but I will once it fails to keep its charge. I dud the same on my Sony earbuds for £17 and they are as good as new now. I dare say there will be a tutorial on YouTube to help.
Good luck.

Second this recommendation. For the size it's phenomenal

JBL Flip 6. I've had many bluetooth speakers down the years and this one is by far the best.

Bose is very good on bass beats but Soundcore Motion has got more boom for when there’s no one else around to disturb

Proper hi fi sound, two speakers for true stereo. Will work with just one if you want to. Not cheap and it you want it battery run for off the mains you have to buy the battery pack separately (it integrates on the back of the main speaker) British too!

Huge thanks for all the input. Definitely going to do some research on all the suggestions.
Yet another example of how Fun can generate so much info. 👍

We used to carry a Bose sound link but the battery went so got a Sonos move for the house/garden/van. Then I thought it was a waste carrying more gear when a simple three way switch on the headunit would power it from the leisure batteries. So now all my music plays through Apple car play driving or parked using the vehicles speakers (upgraded). Not that I’m weight conscious but every little helps.
