Went to MH show to get in particular 2 seat covers, came home with them, oh and another MH.
Went to B and Q for some splash back tiles for toilet, came home with order for new kitchen and forgot the tiles!
I eventually worked out what I was doing wrong, I went with the wife.

My movano was an impulse lockdown purchase, saw it at 4pm on the road at 5 brought at 8pm.
Died at midnight!
Brought in haste repent at leasure!

My wife's niece and her hubbie were visiting us from Denmark a few years back, dropped them in town and took the Merc C class saloon in "for a service". Picked them up an hour later in a very late E class Estate. Twenty minutes later as we got home the visitors realised it wasn't the same car. No I’m single & I’ve bought too many “useful” things in the centre isle, you just never know when they might come in useful (tool of rope/paint sprayer/widgets etc)

My wife sent me for a few ingredients for a meal, I did come back with everything she asked for… and a dehumidifier it was a bargain £40! So I have now been banned unless I am accompanied by a responsible adult.

I'm really confused! (Not difficult I know but.........)

So, the OP says he's not allowed out shopping unless "I am accompanied by a responsible adult".

I find I can get away with bits from the centre isle at Lidl if its about a fiver. I got magnetic tool holders and a magnetic dish on the last two trips.
Management dosnt complain and let’s me do the shopping because she must be the only woman that’s hates shopping.

yep exactly why hubby never lets me ( out to play) when he goes food shopping, I somehow stray away from the magic list, add all nice things, then turn my head away at the till!

Lidl’s latest brochure has an electric coolbox this week for £49.99. I’ve measured up the locker under the oven and it would fit! Been trying to persuade hubby for two days that our fridge is too small.
