Cannot deny having such easy access to ferries (and no doubt getting good deals with weird sailing times) is a great advantage. For me, the last time I drove on the right side (aka the wrong side), I had a 400+ mile drive down to the Eurostar to do it.Living 20 miles from Newhaven over 90% of my Motorhoming is done driving on the right.![]()
Can I guess "Propane" tanks. What are they?
We don't do weird sailing times there are only 2 or 3 ferries a day (season dependant) not much difference in price, normally pay around £160 for a return. Just about to book one now, will go out at 11 am and come back at either midday or 6pm.Cannot deny having such easy access to ferries (and no doubt getting good deals with weird sailing times) is a great advantage. Why would you??I have had 4 Swifts, problems with 3 but last one great. 2 Autosleepers, Broadway EB had 13 faults and Sales Director told me not to buy a new one but one 2/3 years old where other people had sorted out the faults, the best van ever for NO faults was a Knaus, new 2016. Now just bought an Autosleeper Kingham. Registered October 22, used once and buyers did not like.
They put it with a Broker and we have just bought but with no support. Just been trying to sort out media system. It is a Zenec Z-N965 and I now find out you have to buy a micro SD card before you can use Navigation system. So AS sell £78000 vans and you have to buy a €199 card to be able to use the Sat Nav they have installed. Also, to change ownership you have to give them £120 and your warranty on water ingress goes from (only) 6 years to 3, truly shocking.
If I had known this, I would definitely not of bought. Trying to find the best place to buy SD card.
has anyone bought a motorhome /PVC with the Zenec system and had yo buy the card?
For?I can recommend this firm https://www.picstop.co.uk/optical.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIteDUmv_P_QIVROztCh3BFQwZEAAYASAAEgLzM_D_BwE

Propane / LPG Tanks. Most come with just 1 but I rigged up 2 with all the GASFLOW pipeworkWhat are they?
I assume they work in a similar way to a twin Gaslow cylinder system but how do you decide which tank is used first or are they both 'open' all the time? If so how do you monitor your gas level?Propane / LPG Tanks. Most come with just 1 but I rigged up 2 with all the GASFLOW pipework
Yes Twin Gaslow System. You can have both open all the time. They both have gauges on them indicating the level. However, we just have one on at a time. Logic being that when one runs out it reminds me to refill it!I assume they work in a similar way to a twin Gaslow cylinder system but how do you decide which tank is used first or are they both 'open' all the time? It's something I'd considered in the past when only a small tank could be fitted but wasn't aware you could have more than one, a single one wouldn't have had enough capacity for us so stuck with cylinders.
This is what we have 2 X 11Kg https://www.gaslowdirect.com/product/twin-gaslow-11kg-cylinder-kit-with-exterior-white-filler/Yes Twin Gaslow System. You can have both open all the time. Ah we're talking about the same set-up, when you said:This is what we have 2 X 11Kg https://www.gaslowdirect.com/product/twin-gaslow-11kg-cylinder-kit-with-exterior-white-filler/
I thought you meant actual underslung tanks not cylinders, so the same set-up I already have.Propane / LPG Tanks.
