Ta da!Never again autotrail for me I'm afraid.
Why only those four?Which one to go for?
Had one for 6 years. Only gripe was the cost of Merc spares. This is a fantastic smallish RVWinnebago View
On our third Autotrail over last 20 years . First two no problems at all , excellent. Tracker bought new in 2015 has had a couple of minor damp problems , but service ,direct at factory in Grimsby, has been superb. All sorted. Very happy now and off to Spain at the weekend. Confident..I have had my Autotrail Apache from new(2017).Apart from the dreaded Fiat airbag problem the van itself has been excellent.I do maintain it and see to minor niggles myself but I have been delighted with it and hence my reluctance to change.
This is an important point to make .... There are two parts to a Motorhome of course - the Motorhome 'shell' and associated bits and pieces and the vehicle base it is dropped on.I have had my Autotrail Apache from new(2017).Apart from the dreaded Fiat airbag problem the van itself has been excellent.I do maintain it and see to minor niggles myself but I have been delighted with it and hence my reluctance to change.
Autotrail do ACLASSOn our 3rd Hymer not as good as there were but OK for a mid-range van. Stick with German and you won't go far wrong, of the ones you mention Hymer are the only one that make A Class vans which are far better IMO.
Have a look at Carthago build quality is much better.
ExactlyI worked in the industry for 32 years, and have seen appalling versions of every make, and seen wonderful examples as well.
I would consider any manufacturer when looking for a motorhome, and would consider many things before being worried about the badge on the outside.
And the Autotrail Grand Frontier looks very nice as wellAutotrail do ACLASS
