Just got some good ideas for my outfit , hair ( might be a bit harder without hook up:Smile: ) and make-up off land Girls BBC 1 Sunday evenings . Its a new series and very good IMO .

Is that a confirmed list of attendees Shiela? Ie thy are all definitely and confirmed?

Just filled up the van £111 plus £11 for the Genny and £15 in gas so the wagon is cleaned and ready :BigGrin:

I am looking for a Luftwaffe outfit,,,I did think of coming as adolf but thought I would get launched ... So to get this right, I can urn up Friday, get wasted and stay in the hall till Sunday :Cool:

Slight change of plan.
We should now arrive pretty early in the day, rather than after gate closing time.
Looking at recent posts: didnt realise this was a fancy dress thing.
No time to trawl for stuff, so no dress up here I'm afraid.
Promise to read all posts more thoroughly next time.

Its not an official dress up thing , just that a few decided to do it with it being at the air museum. For the Saturday night get together in the mess room . Just to bring a bit more fun to it. Its not compulsory:BigGrin:
Some people are dressing up like they do for the Pickering war weekend . 40's gear etc .

Dont worry Pappajohn , I'll have some red lippy you can borrow. :Wink:

Not a problem, you arrive whenever you can, as for the dressing up as already said it is not compulsory never has been as on all FUN meets you do exactly what you want to do, but if as Bev says you would like to join in the spirit of the 40s then do so by all means, you dont have to trawl around looking for stuff, a white pinifore a moustache and you could be Renee and your better half Mitchelle :Rofl1:. Pappajohn just bring the rat we may need it for the cooking :Rofl1:.

Look forward to meeting you all and hopefully we should have a good weekend with loads of pics for the forum. xx

Have any funsters attending this meet have in their motorhome an electric hot plate either single or double, if so I would be grateful if you would be good enough to lend it to me for the saturday night socialising.

Hi Funsters,

Just one week to go :BigGrin:, so hopefully everyone can make the meet and we will have a great time trying to recreate the wartime spirit which held this little county of our together.
Stew - it is not a problem what time you arrive on Friday, if its after 5.00pm when the staff go home we will have a key and will open the gate a mobile no will be posted on the gate in case Mick has gone for a wee :Rofl1:

Anyone wishing to dress up it is planned that we do this on Saturday evening in Hut 12, this will also be open on Friday night for socialising if you wish to do so, Haggers have got the great coat ready or would you prefer mi fur coat :Wink:
