We're going to try out any delicate spots tomorrow. We're taking them out on a bike ride :xrofl:.

Very good news, but as I said in an early post, many of the "positive" PSA tests turn out to be false alarms but that's no excuse to ignore them.

Hope Colins' story has persuaded every other male "of a certain age" to think seriously if any symptoms occur. If caught early enough it is completely cureable. My lifetime plan is to have a "checkup" PSA test every couple of years

Now you can both forget about it and get on with your tour.

Will be having my annual PSA check done when we return from France.

Thanks Terry. One of the reason I posted so openly on here is that both of us think men do not discuss or are open about this sort of thing. It was after the New Forest meet and having a good chat to a few male Funsters there, that he said he wanted to be as open as possible. His specialist has referred him back to his GP with a recommendation of biannual PSA tests.

Guys, get the prostate (PSA) test done, if it comes back as malignant don't panic it is one of the most curable cancers, but get it checked.

Totally agree with you Sandra. After my scare i'm on annual psa checks. Like you say if found early it's one of the easiest treatable cancers.
The tests may not be pleasant but they're a damn site better that the possible outcome if not found and treated.

I always say to Jax about my doctor " she's fondled my goolies and stuck her finger up my arris and she never bought me dinner or a drink" I must be easy.:D

That's great news for both of you, enjoy your travels folks

Well @pandj many on here and certainly Colin and Sandra are aware that I went for a check up three years ago and during the digital insertion this guy whispered over my shoulder,

"It's perfectly normal to get an erection during this examination," and I replied,

"I haven't got an erection," to which he replied, "No, but I have."

I tell you now funsters, 'twas at that very moment I made a life changing decision;

The time to worry is when the doctor is poking around down there and then you realise that he has both his hands on your shoulders.:xgrin:

I wanted to give this a like but just couldn't, surely you can see why, I can't even say it was funny because for the guy under examination it ain't funny.

However it was funny and I liked it too. (though I can't imagine what he would hgave been poking around with)

@Popeye Not as funny as yours.:xsmile:

Enjoyed a great cycle ride today with the Jumars. Thanks for the route Martin, just right to break us back into road bikes.

We had a mini disaster this afternoon in that we ran out of wine, on a Spanish bank Holiday!! :Eeek::crying: lucky for us the most excellent and very generous @Munchie is also on site, with his huge and I mean huge........15 litre box of wine. A quick dash across to Chez Munchies on wheels with me empty bottle and the emergency was averted. :wine:
