Is it a free wifi zone or do we have to go via our BT open zone app?
Basically, we were planning on not taking the iPad thinking we'd struggle for Internet access

Feeling bit fed up looks unlikely that i will be able to attend after all. Tony had hip replacement repair done just under three weeks ago now. I have been watching and waiting to see how things progress but looks like he s not going to be fit enough to attend and prob not fair to leave him on his own either, certainly not for 4/5 days. Hope you all have brilliant weekend. @Carol if anyone can use the pitch please let me know and I will send details.

The going is anything but firm, be prepared to be towed on.

Wifi update. There are very many O2 hotspots (Chester racecourse) that you'll find very easy to connect to if you have an antenna and until there are hoards connecting to them the connection is very fast. So now I'm reserving the FON spot for when bandwidth is saturated.
My panel antenna is seeing 21 O2 wifi spots
The fact that it is hissing down outside gives me a smile when I can do it all from in the van

Yes Andy, I asked for them on the way out to town this morning. The very nice young lady did say that they would get round to issuing FUN members soon, but offered ours there and then. if you walk over with your email confirmation, she might oblige.

Yep, got the wristbands from the people who were manning the blue tent near the entrance. You should be able to ask any of the Camperfest staff, they should help you. Just walked past your van but didn't see if anyone was in. We're now sat drinking coffee in the warm hoping the rain wil stop so we can go and find people!

Andy sadly the blue tent has now blown away:-( but sure they will send in alternative accommodation to issue wristbands , place in the sun could be a good idea
