Yes, if not that something very similar.I remember the "Spitfire Multi-Spark", wouldn't happen to be that one would it.
There was always a guy demonstrating and flogging them at every autojumble I went to.

It would at that age as long as its not blowing black smokeI have a 2.8 jtd passed emissions test every year no additives at all
Do you still use it every fill up or just occasionally now?I use Redex regular treatment. Petrol and Diesel.
I tried it because I saw it tested on a TV program over some miles.
We always had nearly new and one brand new motorhome with no exhaust issues. However, when we got our then, 14 year old motorhome 4 years or so ago. It was quite smokey. It had a good run to the UK from where we purchased it, Granada Spain. But, still smoked. Oil changes did nothing.
So I started adding Redex Regular Diesel Treatment. Within 3 tanks, it was almost clear of smoking.
I also had an issue with an Audi A3 DPF light. Redex DPF cleaner sorted that too.
Beats a couple of bottles of DR. GoodNowt like a good snake oil thread
Almost every tank. And I think it feels like a bit more umphDo you still use it every fill up or just occasionally now?
Yes I use it worth a petrol car and it’s very good. It does something to improve fuel combustion and I definitely get more mileage from it. The other big thing is the quietness and smoothness from the engine. I’m quite sceptical with a lot of so called automotive “innovations” but I do like Dipetane. I call it cough mixture for an engine. The other problem I have is a slightly rough idle which I have worked hard to fix. Only Dipetane worked on that score.Read all sorts about the stuff but wonder if anyone here has used / uses it.

Making fun of some of my problems is most unfair, and that stuff doesn't work. It'll probably make your farts smell better though!
Dipetane not injector cleaner thoughNot long ago, on our previous Euro 5 Ducato, I tried using an injector cleaner before a long trip around France, Spain & Portugal because it said to use one bottle to every 6 full tanks of fuel. Half way round I got a dashboard warning about the catalytic converter or something similar that I had never seen before or since. Turned off and started again and it had disappeared. I don't believe in coincidences and, like BouncyBoatFolk, I am quite cynical and have a deep suspicion of such claims. Not for me either.
Or erectile tissues if it worksOn here it’s either for rheumatism or erectile issues
Do you eat them or rub them on? Asking for a friend.Prunes are said to be better than dipetane.
Odd innit, that the same stuff can cure as well as promote stiffness. On here it’s either for rheumatism or erectile issues
mine passes MOT omissions without it - just sayingI have always used Archoil as recommended by the previous owner, the van passes the MOT emissions, what else do you need? It's a 3.0l Ducato so not environmentally friendly.View attachment 460247View attachment 460248
No, absolutely not, but it is just the idea of putting stuff in the tank that I don't properly understand that puts me off. I have never seen Fiat's opinion of it either and they ought to know!Dipetane not injector cleaner though
Or a stiff neck!!Odd innit, that the same stuff can cure as well as promote stiffness.
I imagine that with the wrong dosage you could find yourself in the unfortunate position of having even stiffer joints and needing nothing for the weekend, Sir.
