Another comformatic issue

So just had a meeting with Gérard who seems very knowledgeable via my translator, site owner. And we now need to transport it to his workshop in the village for him to carry out a clutch calibration and reset.
His feelings are that the clutch is not engaging correctly with the drive motors. He assures me that whatever the problem he'll sort it.
Hope so.

That recalibration is called "apprentissage" in French, I think. Good luck - I hope it is successful and your problem is fixed.

For all those that helped and showed concern, thank you.
We returned home yesterday after getting the mh repaired in Spain.
The faulty part was the clutch bearing which was leaking fluid onto the plates and caused failure. I saw the old parts and the plates were black and burnt. A new clutch was fitted which unfortunately was faulty, the second one is okay, travelled 1700 kilometres home without issue and all seems to be fine.
Didn't post before as didn't want to jinx the return trip. Not that I'm superstitious in any way.🤔
Anyway I now have splinters from holding a piece of wood all the way home, there's lucky Heather all over the inside of mh, four leaf clover all over dash board🍀 and I have no idea where the Cornish Pixie came from.
Anyone want a black cat?🐈‍⬛

We were in Spain several years ago and had a nice week on a site near Salou when the day come to depart we had similar problem. We had parked across pitch and of course no gears to reverse or shunt off. Rang the breakdown thru reception and 1?2 hour later after I got enough gears to get onto site road and on the B/D truck. So luckily the Fiat professional garage was 20 miles away and 3/4 hours later we were back on the road. It turned out to be a leak on the transmission fluid reservoir, due to a hairline crack in it. They discovered it, repaired it with plastic padding and pressure tested it and off we went for another 2000 k miles before we had it replaced. All for 150 euros which we claimed back off warranty.
