As the title says, anyone got these fitted and what’s the best lubricant? Found this which I presume is the correct stuff but wanted a second opinion.

Microfine Graphite Powder, available on Amazon.

Either the ABUS lubricant linked above or Dryfilm PTFE SPRAY (ironically made by WD40!)

I have graphite for the doors at home, and have used it, but not sure if it’s the correct stuff- having read ABUS web site below? Hence the confusion.

Use the Abus one on all my locks,not cheap but good stuff.
Never use WD40 oil on a lock!
Unless the intention is to gum up the lock and knacker it on a permanent basis !
If you have done this, then acetone will remove WD40, if you can find a way of getting it into the lock.
(We soaked a dozen 'keyed alike' WD40'ed padlocks in a washing up bowl of Acetone, but they were never the same, we had to replace the set in the end. About £300 from memory)

I used graphite and think I maybe put too much in as it clogged everything up, I now use the Abus lock lubricant linked to.

It's primarily purpose is moisture dispersant.

Undoubtedly a useful product, just not one I'd use in locks.

You would be better off using silicone spray as it won’t clog the lock.
The problem with WD40 is that it collects dust and grit particles as it does not dry out like silicone.
