A word or phrase that tells me why you "MotorHome"?

The ability to enjoy, each day, a different view out of the Arched Window (actually, it’s a door). 😎

Our land yacht - with more freedom.

I agree with most of above, but particularly with Spriddler - 'A cottage in every European village'

I get the impression that most respondents are 'off-grid' people in the main, as we are. If you are not please tell us.

Home from home whereever you are.
As the Arabs say “my home is your home” - except, Brian if you are trying to steal my precious Aldi Glenratspiss…………

Seiously, as well as getting away from “people”, it is always good to greet and entertain friends, old and new alike.

Initially would have been dog, now touring in comfort.

Freedom to travel cheaply.
Freedom to travel.....YES
Cheaply... NO.... not when diesel is now over £1.52/ltr (That £6.90/gal in auld fud money) at Tesco and rising. And we all know, once it goes up... it ain't coming back down.
However CamperJack to answer your question...."To sleep in my own bed"... I detest hotels,!

Depends how long you're there. Diesel cost to The Lakes from mine is about about £60. B&B about £60. Stay for more than a night and it's paid for itself because two nights in a B&B would be £120, and staying in the van is free (wild camping / pub stops etc).

Perhaps cheaper than hotels would be more accurate.

That is a really good topic to introduce - nice one.

For us it is being together at home - but somewhere new and with interesting things maybe.
