If you're going along as far as The Mull of Galloway there's a free aire outside the gates of the C&MC site at New England Bay.Ok, got that.
It's just that we are planning a trip to SW Scotland starting from Sunderland, tentatively Dumfries and Stranraire area then on to Culzean castle.
Following that crossing over to Rothbury area then on to the East coast of Northumberland.
Will be looking for nice area's to walk in and will visit NT and EH places.
Would probably do a mix of sites and P4N
Might do a post asking for suggestions.
Looks brilliant. If you're going along as far as The Mull of Galloway there's a free aire outside the gates of the C&MC site at New England Bay.
They are, mainly "hardstanding" and access to a toilet, fresh and black.

Ah, I see now.

Not sure what SFS is ?
I usually see it in posts as S4S.
Yes, reciprocal rights to visit. Will it, I thought members of the English branch didnt get in Scottish NT free?
Also, will consider Culzean ccc but I think it's a tad expensive.
My mistake must have been a vodka night. Not many trains on the Road Bridge! Mostly on the Rail Bridge.![]()
Thanks for sharing, great ideas for our next Scotland visit. Thanks,
We use Search4Sites. The Aire at Hawick is free. The park ups in Fife were £5 where there were no services, £10 for those with services.
See now, must remember that!Search for sites
Yes some people seem to think it S4S, I think they’re getting mixed up with P4N
Hi CAB, Now you mention it I've seen it on here before.Yes, reciprocal rights to visit.
In fact, some in England take out NTScotland membership as it is cheaper!
