That marker is quite understated. I can imagine that in USA that would be marked by a huge arch spanning the road. But this is Norway.

That's true here a ongst the remote islands. But on the E6 near Krokstranda the Norwegians do make a big (overblown) thing of it with an 'Arctic Circle Visitor Experience' building.

View from our Moho at Ferry Meadows East this morning! Very few vans on this side and nowhere near full on the main site. Great to have such a quiet site but maybe £31.90/night for an unmown grass pitch, tired facilities block and waste bins only at the entrance, is taking the mickey. If it wasn't for the fact it is our 'local' site and the Country Park has great hard surfaced paths allowing walking in all weathers, we probably wouldn't continue to use it. But then the CMC bosses have helped with that decision process by deciding to again close the whole site over the wet weather period, (Winter), when those paths really become useful.

A couple of miles south of the Arctic Circle Norway loving the bright sunshine at gone 10pm.

It will still be bright sunshine gone midnight. Just gone behind the clouds for a few moments so I could take the photo, too bright otherwise.

Here in France staying at Salles Curran Aire site, beautiful, sat by the lake not overlooked, site in tiers. Toilets/showers/ washing up/ electric all for 14euros (12.88 pounds ). Where else would you get that.
