A photo of your van camping last night

We have gone this weekend to Os de Balaguer (Lleida, Catalunya, Spain), a small village closer to the Pyrinees, looking to avoid the last warmth from this criminal summer of us 🥵 We didn't succeed much as the sun is scorching our van, but the nights are better here😀

Lovely little Site in Brittany, Océ'âne, near Crozon, right on the GR34, Brittany coast path, which we are slowly walking. 15€ a night, 4€ for electric, which we haven't bothered with, free showers/toilet and washing up facilities. Open April to Sept. They also do donkey treks for half and full days, plus a selection of multi day pony trekking holidays. Very peaceful and friendly. We're staying another night as we like it so much. 😊

Well, it's not really built yet but it went from being full of boxes etc from a house move this morning to back to bare bones.

and then from that to having a double bed, working internet. solar input, interior lights, diesel heater, toilet and a cassette cooker, toolbox, refrigeration (actually not in the pic) and basic living quarters in readiness for a long weekend away coming up.

Sure, insulation, proper plumbing and gas, skylights and other 'essentials' are missing, but it's not going to stop me going away in it!

Camping Agay Soleil. A few kms East of St Raphael.
Not cheap at €34 with electricity, although it is right on the beach in a sheltered bay.
We first came here 34 years ago. Not much has changed except for the creep of the bungalows which now occupy the back section of a very small campsite

Trevor the transit…. My home from home while at work. Kids named him, not me!

3-4 nights a week March to October inclusive. Saves me a fortune on rent or hotels.
Home built from a panel van.

Cheating maybe as it’s a hire rather than mine (couldn’t find a suitable ferry booking) Camping as it should be!
