Thanks for the w3w. Was it expensive to get to van to Crete?

Not too bad compared to, say, Brittany Ferries to Spain. It was €765 Piraeus to Chania and return from Heraklion. That’s for the two of us and a 7.5m van plus an overnight cabin. Dearer than the Italy to Greece crossing as that one has ‘camping on deck’ in the MoHo.

Unfortunately not the whole shebang! More’MoHo on Deck’ with the usual maritime transport restrictions - although EHU is included. I’ll post a pic when we’re on our way back.

Rammed in at Koblenz Knaus Camping Site . Holiday weekend . Timing could’ve been better but a great site to visit the Old Town, the cable car, Fortress and the Wilhelm monument at the Rhine /Mosel split. Very good facilities if you need them but we use all on board.

I second the cheap Ikea plates etc. Had mine 2 years light and hard wearing miles better than malamite.

Tonight’s free stopover at Plaka Beach, Crete.
Police have just done a circuit around the parking area and no problems - although maybe my chicken risotto with asparagus and peas scared them off! Excellent swimming and a chance to visit Spinalonga Island, so may be here a couple of nights. ///scopes.straying.contracting
