Wing Hall, Rutland.

Feel very out of place, we have no awning, no bbq and no kids ::bigsmile:
Gave up on Wing Hall and moved to Lyndon Top.

What a wonderful site!

30mins from ma hoose , 😉 take a walk thro the tunnel and up along the other side , a trip on the canal boat is well worth the experience of how massive and how strong the wheels are but how little energy it actually takes . Enjoy .

Hi Bobby
Already done the canal boat and trip through the tunnel awesome is the only word to describe this massive engineering wheel, we stood looking at it trying to work out how it worked various ways expressed some very funny and daft but when we went on the trip it all became clear. Excellent value for money.
🤗👍

Hi cyberyatch
Can’t agree with that we stayed at the kelpies £5 to park for the day then £10 for the night, no water yes there are toilets but very noisy from the road also unable to empty cassette. On the other hand at the Falkirk wheel we had water taps the use of toilets and a deposit of £20 for a key which was refunded on leaving to empty our cassette and a 10% reduction on breakfast all for a cost of £15 per night and no traffic noise at all.

The view from our front window earlier, we had to move to outside the Bodequita de puerto 50mtr as they are allowed 3 MHs to stay but you cannot overnight elsewhere on the harbour.
Food was very good also huge portions!
