Shortly after I took pic.1 the pitch next door was occupied. The driver rolled up and started snapping the branches of the tree in front of him.
Thing is, if he hadn't gone so far forward (there's 6ft at the back, off the road) he wouldn't have had to 'prune'at all.

Taking advantage of our late Scottish summer. Lochore Meadows, Fife. Great place for a walk with the dogs and getting out on the Loch with paddleboard and canoe. Surprisingly few vans on site.

St. Pol de Leon nr Roscoff. Tide comes in like an express train!View attachment 952310
Virtually the whole bay was exposed sand, seaweed and rock over to the far mole, when we arrived. 30 minutes and everything covered and an hour later the water is around a foot below the wall in front of the van. Could be interesting if the current stiff breeze veers round to onshore!

The aire at Saint-Florentin. It’s a great spot. Last night there was a music festival at the little stadium across the canal. Rock band on at 10 but all finished by midnight. Lots of families there. This morning all evidence gone, never heard them packing up.
