Currently looking at this lovely view on the M1. Been here at least an hour. Accident ahead, so have been to the loo and had a brew. Six large recovery wagons have passed en route.

Bothered.? Not at all. One more sleep until our eurotunnel train. We'll just be a little late to Canterbury park and ride. Yippee!

Funsters who attend the Petshore Plum Festival rally will know the Avon Bank Meadow site, used it since 2018 on route to the Malvern Show. Glorious weather this last 2 days so nice and peaceful Lisa and John the owners are wonderful as always. 👍👍👍

Did you drive to Riano from Potes? I'd love to go there but wondered what the drive was like for a motorhome.
We drove from Reinosa to Riaño and the roads were easy. All nice wide lanes and absolutely no problems at all. Stunning area!

First time at this Harbour motorhome stopover in Gorichem, near Rotterdam. A bit pricy at 24 euros but such a good stop that we stayed and chilled out for 3 nights. Peaceful harbour, with full facilities and restaurant. Sandy beach and 13 mins to nice city centre.

Market day in Annecy is special.
When we lived in France we used to visit Annecy regularly.

At that time we used to enjoy watching the Fire Brigade clear up after the market. Once the stalls were removed they walked down the street, from hydrant to hydrant, washing the debris in front of them with standard fire hoses. The resulting pile was then shovelled up by council employees.

Very effective and quick.
