How long you there for? I've rescinded my 'like' and I'll give you an extra day to get a photo of the big blue guy that isn't blurred. You can then have your 'like' backAnd he's back again and very cheeky.

And, no not Peacock Place, but I'm told he is famous.

Currently in Sidi Ifni in southern Morocco - didn't really intend to get this far. I though more likely to be southern Spain.Be sure to let us know.
I can do jealousy with the best of them!
Where are you?Now its my last night before back to work, the view has changed to this (but still windy enough to rock the van). Its a bit spooky to be on a site where you realise that although there are 30+ caravans on pitches in the next field, I am actually the only person staying here.

Ieper, or Ypres as the Brits called in during WW1.
It's a great place to visit, it was almost totally destroyed in WW1 and was completely rebuilt exactly as it was prior to the war, there is a museum in the cloth hall which tells the story of WW1 there, there is also a memorial to all the allied troops that have no known grave at the Menin gate, the local fire brigade play the last post every day 365 days a year and the only period this hasn't happened was in WW2 when the Germans had control of the town, the day they left the ceremony started again. Thanks for enlightening me. I’ve learned something new today!
If anyone is interested Ieper is the Dutch spelling, Ypres is the French. The British soldiers pronounced it Wipers from Y-pres.It is not an L it is a capital i.
