A photo of the outside from Inside

Taken this morning through open MoHo window. We were awoken by the foghorn. Never heard it here before. It is so calm. Heard on the news it is a bit breezy back in the UK!

I have an Aire all to myself at the moment, L'Anse de Moidrey, €13.50 per night 2 bornes, electric and water included. It has a clever machine that talks you through booking in, in English if required lovely and quiet with just some horses for company.

Excuse my ignorance, and just out of interest what is a borne?

It's a motorhome service point, you can dump your black, and grey water and fill up your fresh water all at one place. It's the place on left of my picture.

Another Aire to myself at the moment AirePark Chateaubriant €10 with electric. It has a bit of a slope though, front wheels are off the ground on the levelling jacks.

We were camping beside a boat ramp in the Marlborough Sounds, South Island, NZ when we heard the graunching and grinding sound of metal on concrete.
Unfortunately, one of the cars towing a boat came off the boat ramp and got stuck in the sand just as the tide was coming in. Help was on hand and after several attempts he was pulled out just before the salt water went up the exhaust.
Photos taken from the comfort of my bed. I didn't want to be a voyeur.

To be fair, it is only 50 odd miles away from where the architect was born
True….. Norman Foster was born on June 1, 1935, in Reddish (Stockport).
The Millau Viaduct was completed in 2004 across the gorge valley of the Tarn near Millau in Southern France. The design team was led by engineer Michel Virlogeux and English architect Norman Foster.
We have previously driven across, but this was the first time we have managed to view from below…….an elegant construction. (y)

Have walked over the Sydney Harbour Bridge a few years back, but this is much higher and longer. Both are amazing structures albeit very different.

Just waiting now for Minxy to suggest it is The Humber Bridge.

Nah, I knew it was Millau as we've been a few times plus if it was the Humber Bridge we'd be in trouble as it would mean someone had nicked the river! :giggle:
