Your photos reminded us that our vines will be growing wild, unattended, in France. We had a good harvest last year. Hope we can return to tend them soon.

Took a drive up a forestry road today, had a picnic listening to the birds and the stream.

Hello, can you tell me what sat nav you have fitted, please? I can see it's Pioneer, it looks very similar to an Alpine one I'm interested in. I want a large screen, but was slightly concerned it would 'get in the way'. How have you found it?
Thanks
James

Hi James, I don't use the Pioneer unit as a satnav..... I use the Snooper as shown on the windscreen or an Aguri, both of which I find very good.

The Pioneer is a AVH-Z7200DAB, which is a single din unit with a motorised screen and does everything I want while keeping the storage space above.
It can be used as a satnav with various phone apps if necessary.

Technically a yard to the left of where i parked.
Must be at least 30 nesting families of storks within 200 metres of here

This is Givet but the "aire" opposite the castle is gone. They have built a car park there with a pontoon cafe.

Luckily they have built this fit for purpose aire. Same side of the river. If you turned left to go to the old "aire" just turn right instead. No signs up yet apart from directions from the old "aire"

Made mistake of leaving phone in motorhome with wife
