Somewhere near Mons, Belgium on an aire next to a canal near the tallest boat lift in the world. And a plate of crumbs that was a Belgian pastry that was lovely. Mons itself wasn’t very nice though, a bit rough like.

One from last night ... had a short walk to get that view.
Then one from just now, out of the windscreen, at Killin near the Dochart Falls in the Trossachs. Collecting daughter from Aberdeen tomorrow then heading home as we don’t get the holiday Monday.

Thieu on the central canal I believe, nice stop off and loads of space for big vans, 4 old ship lifts and one huge one to replace them.

Nice spot.
If you’ve got bikes there is a good ride along the old canal beside the original boat lifts to the end, then back along the new bit to the huge new lift.
That new lift is very impressive.

Richard.

We are parked up on the edge of the Mar Menor having spent a fabulous day in Cartgena. I'll zoom in so that the buildings are visible from so far off and out so that you can see we're in our lovely Frankia and on the most spacious bang up to date Aire around.
