Spotted this beauty at Flookburgh Steam fair today, oh how the owner laughed when I said "I bet it runs like a little sewing machine !" :rolleyes: :LOL: ,

Kiftsgate Court gardens:

Stone paving slabs about 5 ft by 5 ft.
You wouldn’t find those at B&Q.
And imagine trying to lay them!

As a child I loved these boats. Even building Airfix models of them. Even watching 'they were expendable' and 'Hell boats'.

Went for a walk on the coast near Ravenna today and found this beauty. Yes it really is that long.

The Workhouse at Southall, Nottinghamshire (National Trust). An interesting place. They were still housing homeless families in there in the 1970s (although in basic bedsits rather than in dormitories like this).
