We visited Glastonbury today.

The weather has been glorious (at last).

Cliff should have done that photographic trick like they do with the Tower of Pisa :rofl:

Someone was standing on the other side of the church - I’m not wearing a funny hat! :rofl:

Of course I had to buy a scarf - a very nice ethnic Indian silk multicoloured with tassels (it reeks of Patchouli) :rofl:

No paper or plastic carrier bags in Glastonbury..

A lovely day out, but as usual, a bit too spiritual for us!
 
Apparently Joseph of Aramatheia (Jesus’ dad) took him to Glastonbury and he buried the Holy Grail in the Chalice Well (the artwork depicts it above).

No relics found in the church though, even though there have been hundreds of them deposited there over the centuries.

Portishead and Clevedon tomorrow - more of a nautical theme!

A lovely sunny day visiting a town on our doorstep.

The trip home was a bit of a nightmare as we almost strayed into the Bristol CAZ 🤬

3 have Renault engines, the yellow one has turbo and on with beetle engine
