A photo of the day thread

More info please Helen.(y)
It's called Little Rock, Brian, part of the Harbour Arm. The food was delicious, I've posted pics on the morning thread.

How did you get there. Local FB pages full of traffic and gloom and doom! Mind you we couldn't get out of our road onto Dymchurch Road for the last two days. Hythe Food Festival not helping! :(
Past Dover Castle from the Duke of York roundabout, down to the A20 in Dover, through Capel le Ferne and down to the Harbour Arm, no traffic issues at all. We came back through Capel and along the B2011 into Dover, up past the castle again and home to Sandwich from there. The trucks are being held by the Dover Tap so the town centre was fine.

Was murder this side of Folkestone for a few days. M20 closed at J11 but they were still allowing people to join at the new J10! Neighbours stuck for hours unable to get home from work! Better today but still can't get far from here to Hythe itself.

Thanks Helen, must remember that for next time we are down. I love the way the harbour has been developed and revitalized with such a great atmosphere.

Just came back from France. We now try to stop an hour or so from the Tunnel the night before. less hassle. Found this nice aire in Loos on the Somme. We were not far from WW1 family graves so stopped of to pay respects on the way up to Calais. If they were unable to identify the remains they were buried in unknown graves but their names went on the wall. We have done FH research on both families in WW1 & WW2. and visited all the sites. This site had cousins and who died on the same day Sept 1915 R.I.P.

Foy is a lovely site if you can get on the flat and if I remember right only about 4 miles out of Ross so quite an easy bike ride in. Lots of people there fish.
Hereford is brilliant for MH flat, easy access and a 10 minute walk to the town.
