Which site did you stay at Buntyb for your trip to Bournemouth? Was train close by and was there a bus route close by to get around? We have no bikes just dog and buggy and thinking of this area for September. Cheers Smudger55Not quite Cavtat. We are off to Sutton-on-Sea very shortlyHutoft car terrace just outside Sutton on sea. They have now started charging for parking and are only allowing campers under 6 metres,it’s only £4 to park for the day and Dishab badges free
We were there BC (before COVID).Some of Ronda. Love this place.
I'll be happy to see the back of this hot weather. Portable A/C would be top of the shopping list if we come again. Mainly for night time.

We are feeling your pain. Our attempt to get the fridge cool. Bloody Dometic tech tower. Over 2 grand for a fridge that only works below 20 degView attachment 631445
Well the fan didn’t work. It was up to 37deg today and the bottom of the fridge was 16 degWe are feeling your pain.
Moved up to 1000 metres high where it is only 82. Parked under mountain so shade at 7pm giving the gas just enough chance to make the freezer have fridge temperatures with the help of 8 ice blocks.
We stayed at Black Knowl Caravan & Motorhome site. The train station is in Brockenhurst is about 2.4 miles away. You could walk it but allow about 45 mins walk. We took a taxi at a cost of £10 one way. The train was £17.60 return for two of us which I think is good value. Brockenhurst is lovely. Think there is a bus service running through it as well. Lymington worth a visit too if you get the chance.Which site did you stay at Buntyb for your trip to Bournemouth? Was train close by and was there a bus route close by to get around? Is your door sealing properly?Well the fan didn’t work. It was up to 37deg today and the bottom of the fridge was 16 deg
Under normal circumstances a fair questionIs your door sealing properly?
Well jealousWe're in France now and have been in 38/39° but our fridge/freezer has been ok
We leave Ronda tomorrow for Salamanca. Looked at the weather thing, it tells us 39c there tomorrow, oh joy.
Not boriing at all Joy although a little spooky maybe.Sorry, pretty boring photos again but days are quite sedate at the moment. This was inside an old ruins and I was trying, on my phone, to photograph the nesting pigeon in the window and make it look exciting for you. sorry.
We always push the door hard when closing to make the seal. Works fine up to 25deg. Over that it gives up. 3x140mm fans in the top vent. Had a new refrigeration unit fitted under warranty but made no difference. Apparently this is how they are. Thetford fridge in our old van was brilliant. Is your door sealing properly?
That does not sound right, I would be making a lot of noise at the dealer's/Carthago about that fridge. I would not accept "apparently this is how they are".We always push the door hard when closing to make the seal. Works fine up to 25deg. Over that it gives up. 3x140mm fans in the top vent. I m thinking of getting an external fan like yours and using frozen ice blocks in the open bottom vent and blowing the air up to the top vent where the 140 mm fans can take over, hopefully causing enough cooling power to freeze the next set of ice blocks. We always push the door hard when closing to make the seal. Thanks for replying and informing me of the transport options available. Cheers Smudger55We stayed at Black Knowl Caravan & Motorhome site. There are other campsites that may be nearer to a train station. From memory, I think there is a campsite at Christchurch which is also on the same train route. It’s another fab place to visit.
