A photo of the day thread

glenn2926 lovely photos. Where were they taken?
All taken on today’s Airedale walk. I started on the North side which is south facing so sunny. First couple are in Sunnydale which comes off Ilkley moor down into Airedale. Along the Leeds Liverpool canal to Bingley. Then crossed on to the South side, north facing, wow two coats colder over there. Up Alter lane, motorcycles and horses only up there. Just short of three miles all uphill. Dropped over the top down to the Worth valley and followed the river worth back to the Aire then up home 15.6 miles. Glorious morning out.

Joe sent me this view of the Erskine Bridge today, taken while dismantling an ash suffering from die-back.

We love coming down to the old harbour for fish butties and a couple of cold 'uns.

Craig, your being cruel, you know we cannot do that yet, we can have fish take away or booze from Supermarket, but eating and drinking them together outside! Not a chance.

Peace and quiet. Kids took the gangster to stay with friends tonight so Gramps and Granma had a relaxing BBQ.
Only 2 items tonight, Cumberland sausages and a Ribeye, Jacket on the coals and silly salad and Arabic bread, Nom bloody nom.
Not forgetting the 6 bots of Bud..................happy.

He can't half make a racket though, I think we need to get him a girlfriend ?
Don’t, no really, don’t. My mate’s next door neighbour had a pair. They bred, had young , which in turn bred and they ended up with 16 of them. What a row. I told him he should have done with them what was done when they were first introduced to this country. Eat them.
