A photo of the day thread

We used to hoon though there on the bikes in our yoof ;)
I still do , usually on my way up the Dales. We don’t bother with Devils Bridge though. The Golf Club Just half a mile on the road does a cracking breakfast.

Red hot day today (27) and the whole island is green after all the rain in early January.

A couple of hours ago Janie went over the beach for a swim, although it's 27°c outside I checked the sea temperature 14.5 °c thinking she wont be long. 🙄
She finally came back and said the pie smells good, there be trouble if you have let it burn. 😲
I didn't realise I should have been watching it. 😁
I had a lucky escape. 😜 Bob.

Today’s walk was mainly away from the river Thames but we did venture to the bridge to see that its currently flooding the fields around us.

Blimey alot of water, hope it doesn't get any worse. 😲
I remember when we were children fishing on the river lea, the fishing bailiff came round and told us we have to go home, me and my mate probably spent 10 minutes arguing with him to get our ticket money back, my dad was running around like a headless chicken 😁 knowing we had gone fishing but didn't know where, and the river had burst its banks flooding the lower part of Ware, we still never rushed off home, we spent our ticket money in the fish and chip shop. 😁 Bob.

bobandjanie We went and had a look at some like that up in the mountains on our way to...

Strangely enough.... one of the best fish restaurants on the Costa Blanca.. All Crayfish and crabs and lobsters were in huge glass tanks and you picked out what you wanted... Miles from anywhere, cannot remember the name of the village it was near.
Had to get there early as by 10pm there were coach loads in.. and people queing up to get in..

Seems strange having a place like that in the mountains...(y)

Not going to try and put a text on each photo, that's when it all goes wrong.
Or put them in order. Al Qudra Lakes and Bab Al Shams you decided.............or most likely delete.
