I have mixed feelings about old vehicles. Yes I love to look at them and appreciate the efforts people make to preserve them.

But a part of me wishes they could be seen in their proper element - on the road.

When we rode up and down mt. Teide on Tuesday it was wet and cold in the clouds, up and down.
Today did it in reverse and was clear on way up, and dry through the clouds on way down. We were above 7,000 ft for over an hour and it's stunning. Was wierd looking down onto the clouds. Gonna bring Penny here.

Can see top of mountain first pic. 12,000 ft
And top of Grand Can across the clouds

Did you take the cable car to the top? It's strange looking down on aeroplanes. ;)

I've started doing something different !!!
I now volunteer for the local Canal Trust here in Chesterfield as a boatman - which means that I am exposed to what can be basically a "floating motorhome" although at present I am only on a trip boat you never know what's next

Hope this is not too rude for you but this plant fascinates me. My lovely lady reconds that it resembles a mans do dar, If you pla in you can see how the skin or pettle rolls back to expose the next row of bananas. Incredible feat of nature
