A photo of the day thread

A favourite view of ours ?

Sunrise from my drone this morning as the A14 winds it's way past our village. The light level was very low so the camera was struggling a bit.

Looking in the opposite direction, yet more poor sods on the A14 making their way to work.

Nice shots, but I would ammend your height to read 400feet...... Get caught or someone reading this and you and your drone could be in trouble.
Worth a read:

Just a guess, maybe it was 400 feet. :winky:

View attachment 337462Breathtaking sunrise this morning. You have to be quick with the photo as the view changes in seconds. Laika the wonderdog was on top form but it's all about the ball and not the view with her.
Fantastic picture and a fabulous sun rise. I did view it from my garden which was great but nothing like the scene before your eyes. Thanks for sharing it.

To be honest it didn’t look real , everyone passing including the joggers were stopping to take photos

The location and the Mustang make me even more jealous...

First he is taking up two weeks in our timeshare (at great expense) so we won't be there this year and second, the last time I went to Florida with SWMBO (despite having the pick of the entire Alamo hire car garage) she picked a Dodge Caravan for two of us  ( but she is the boss )

Here is Ashley and his new wife doing the ritual threshold crossing....It's the morning after the wedding hence the jaded look

Before I get comments about the timeshare,,, it's a fabulous resort and it feels like we've had our money's worth but we are considering trying to sell it or maybe give it back at some point.. I'll never forget the day we went to see it (for the free park tickets) and Sue kept saying "just say no" until she saw the place..... :censored:

Elan valley today. Still pictures don’t really show the true effect of the cascading water and very strong winds so please imagine the roar of both :-)

The Quinta Majay Saw Mill.

Not only should the shed be rustic looking but it will be made from wood sourced very locally indeed (from within a 20 metre radius).

I do so hope it will be finished by the Festive Season...
