Pie Eater WINS! (y)

JJ

Now you've dug down that far you might as well carry on and dig another well.

On my travels around the Algarve this year I have seen many signs for 'Agua pocos minas' or something similar and a telephone number, which I have not noticed before.

I assume these are adverts for well diggers/ drillers, needed because of the water shortage.........perhaps you could start another business:)

Great pics Tam(y)

Good photos Northernraider. I live in Glasgow and never thought of the ski parking. Will start getting busy now the white stuff has arrived.
Nearly went to Glencoe this week , but the good lady , she makes scented candles, had three fetes to go to. Should have gone with my dog. Hidden Valley a good walk , but awkward at the start if it's snowy.
Look forward to hearing what you did.
Awra best .
John

So I left fort William this morning as it started snowing real heavy and didn't want to end up with the road closed south ...just aswell I did as the pass over glencoeand rannoch moor was getting a little white:)

Still passable though and very pretty from what I could see , needless to say i didn't climb the hidden valley I think the rescue teams have enough on their hands lol

Second last picture proves that there's no road big enough for white van man:).
Good pictures Northernraider , and a good decision to miss the "valley".
Wherever you're going today keep safe.

Can't place the dam, Northernraider, where is it? Did you go from Aviemore to Spean bridge , can't remember the road number.
I know your parking place at Loch Lomond, always full of cars in the summer.
John

Looking northeast from the Roseland Peninsula this afternoon. On the left, Nare Head then Dodman Point in distance with Gull Rock in front of it. Some very heavy showers about but we managed to dodge them. :)
