We are on a site (Fraserburgh Caravan Park) £21 a night, good views ... moving on tomorrow..
I've passed you now :p I'm in Banff, you'll enjoy the coastal trail between Fraserburgh and here there's some seriously steep bits but if this big bugger made it you'll manage it no probs

Lenticular clouds, especially the middle photo. :)
From your link John:
"As the wind blows across hilly or mountainous regions, the air undulates in a downstream train of waves. If there is enough moisture in the air, these waves will condense to form the unique appearance of lenticular clouds."
I guess that's why we get so many here!

Please don't worry... they don't know who you are either... (neither do I)

If I didn't know about them, I can ask Google and find out...

Tried you but I must have pressed the wrong buttons

JJ
You don't want to Google me Oh Please! youd need eye bleach

Soaring in wave, stock photo not me,

But my best wave flight was to 17,000 feet and still climbing at a strong rate.

Unfortunately I did not have oxygen and had already recognised the onset of Hypoxia.

FAA regulations require supplemental oxygen when flying above 12,500 feet for more than 30 minutes or any time above 14,000 feet.

Can spend a fortune on toys and THIS is favourite of the week. :)

When I was little, last millenium, favourite toys were a big cardboard box, a mail-order catalogue, some hen feathers from the farm next door, and corrugated cardboard (used for packaging before polystyrene was invented) .....
..... and imagination

Imagination is the keyword!

With imagination a box can become a car, a ship, a spacecraft, or even a toboggan. :)

Wendy, mine was a blanket over a clothes maiden turned on its side. It was a tent, a castle, an invisible cloak and many other things. :)

Oh yes, you remind me, the table upside down, a pirate ship!

Seen several of these building in northern Spain, it's a hórreo which is a grain store built off the ground on tapered stone legs to stop rodents from climbing and getting in. Came across a similar barns standing on mushroom shaped saddle stones in the south of England earlier this year.
