Had to go down west today to St Just (where @pondfairy was encouraging everyone to visit!)

This is the Plen an Gwari, which is Playing Place in Kernewek (Cornish). It's an amphitheatre where medieval miracle plays were performed until the 17th century. To give some scale, the walls are about 6 feet high. You can see the marks of the miners on the lumps of granite in the foreground - these are roughly man-sized.
A Plen used to be a common site in Cornwall, but there are now only two almost complete ones surviving, although there is a village called Playing Place.

The Centre Court at Wimbledon is starting to fill up, with the players due to come out and start warming up in less than 10 minutes time, although there are plenty of seats available in the Royal Box so come on down!

Angelique Kerber and Irina Falconi warming up. Don't worry about the 24 hour rule Jim, this is virtually live coverage. The good news Funsters is that my phone battery will have packed in before I have bored you all to tears.

Great to see you can still overnight there ... I was under the impression that mohos had been banned.
Yes you can still park , but go right along to the end of the green near the lighthouse.

A coastal walk. Porthpean then turn left to Charlestown along the coastal path . A couple of interesting points, the last image of the 1 room cottages are the brothels for the 18C sailers! Also the stones on the beach are from all over the world. They were ballast in the ships and were dumped as they entered harbour.
