Was looking at the Viking cruise that goes up the Rhine.
9 days over £3k each plus it worked out another couple of hundred each for tips.

I believe the cost is roughly the same for the Rhône, in the picture, if you take the top level boats.

We enquired about them ten years ago soon after we bought our place in Burgundy as they leave from near us. The cheapest cruise boat was then about 1500 euros for 8/9 days.

That's why we are on shore watching them pass by!
