Walked over Hungerford bridge today. The bridge you can see is Waterloo Bridge, the best bridge for viewing up and down the river. In the distance is St Pauls

Police boat 813 it was 2km out to sea when the 2004 tsunami stuck it got washed 2km inland. They have left it where landed and supported it with concrete blocks as a memorial to the tsunami. It is just north of Khao Lak main town.

Out for my first 'proper' outing today, only for the day as we have only just met. Went to Ashdown Forest. Not a great day for walking as well wet. Would have liked to have done some sketching but had to make do with photos (with rain on the lens). Loved these gnarly, leaning birches, might do something with it at some point.
