@easy Ian I have uploaded drone photos to your searchforsites website. Is it permissible for me to upload videos?
@big map Are the videos hosted on youtube?
They can be added here is an example but needs a little html knowledge to do it https://www.searchforsites.co.uk/marker.php?id=18153
That would be the best way for videos is to add them to youtube and then link to that, otherwise you get into all sorts of problems with file formats and compatibility issues. If you need guidance just ask.I don't actually know but I don't think so.
Not sure which post you are referring to? If its ours then jpeg.Is that HDR, RAW or both? If that's a straight Jpeg from camera then it's very nicely done.
Hi EasyThank you, yes, searchforsites is my own website - just trying to make it easy to find stopovers and campsites
Hi @Kirstee thanks for that, glad you find it easy to use - that's why I built it. I do have a couple of additional videos and drone photos which I will addHi Easy
I've been looking at your site as someone recommended it to me....it's great and so easy to use! Thank you
Have you anymore vids of your drone footage, the couple you've shared on here are brilliant.
Now I NEED a Drone.
Get extra batteries as well if not already done soI have just ordered a drone from Very a Phantom 3 for just under £400 (as I am a new customer I got 10% discount) just waiting for delivery
Georges fault
Photos taken when in Spain from the Cross
This took a lot of effort to get there resulting in a long rest next day but the sunset was well worth it
Drone (or aerial photography) does give a completely new perspective on a location but yes there are restrictions (and likely to be even more) but each country is different and wherever you go you will get people who spout privacy laws etc who have no idea - ie you do not need permission to take someone's photograph in a public place.Really loving the drone photos.
Are there legal restrictions anywhere in mainland Europe?
My plan is to go full-time next year..ish and document my travels. I have the Photos and Video side of things sorted but I can't think of a better way than a drone, to get some amazing footage of places like the west coast of Norway.

As much as I want one, and will most likely get one, I do see them as, potentially, a blight on society over the next 10-15 years.
I think the sky will be dark with them and we're just waiting for the first death as a result.
Government's first reaction should have been to demand an operator license, to give them time to see where the tech was heading.
I'm quite nervous about hundreds of 5lb objects whizzing about at 40mph, at 500ft (Actually the height I'm more worried about them flying at is 5' 11")
